University of Florida CSE Building — Floors 4 & 5 Renovation

A multidisciplinary renovation that also brought legacy infrastructure up to University of Florida standards.

Project overview

Renovated University of Florida instructional space

Progresíve served as Electrical Engineer of Record for the MEP/FP and IT renovation of the fourth and fifth floors of the Computer Sciences and Engineering Building, coordinating electrical, mechanical, fire protection, and IT services.

Field verification uncovered legacy installations that did not comply with UF engineering and IT standards. Our team documented existing conditions, designed corrective work, and integrated the renovation with the upgraded infrastructure — and adapted smoothly when significant revisions were requested after signed and sealed documents were issued.

Highlights

  • Legacy systems modernized to campus standards
  • Coordination with the on-site IT team
  • Major post-permit revisions managed
